KID’S TABLE CENTER PIECE, BOX 

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED 

1 Large paper machea box 

Delta Ceramcoat Acrylic Paint; * Crocus Yellow, Leaf Green, Deep Lilac, Napthal Crimson, Burnt Sienna, Caribbean Blue, Lt. Chocolate, Autumn Brown & White. 

Brushes; # 2/0 Liner, #4 Round, #12 Shader 

Delta Gloss Varnish 

THE FOLLOWING ARE OPTIONAL 

• Glue
• Translucent glitter
• Letter stencil
• For the table;  Mason jars filled with candy, liquorish, peppermint sticks, pretzels etc. (Stay away from peanuts, never know when someone is allergic.)

INSTRUCTIONS 

1. Paint the sides of the paper mache box in C.B.  Paint top and bottom in B.S.  Optional; I also stippled, added texture medium to the paint & pounced with a dry brush, on the top with another layer of paint to give it a textured look. On lip of the lid, place glue in a wiggly line around box. Sprinkle glitter over glue and let dry.
2. Print out all pictures and use as patterns when transferring, using graphite paper,  onto your box. Don’t forget to leave room around each boot, hat, snake, etc. to write in the Cowboy Code. (Remember, the bigger your box is the more times you will need to transfer your images.)
3. *Paint in your images in the following colors and let dry;  Boot– N.C., C.Y., L.G., & A.B./ Hat– C.Y., D.L. & Wht./ Cactus #1-L.G., D.L., & N.C./ Cactus #2– L.G., N.C, & Y.C./ Cow– D.L., A.B., & L.C./ Rope– C.Y. & N.C./Snake– C.y., D.L., & Rattle in L.C.
4. Outline all images with the black marking pen and write the cowboy code in and around all images. You can also draw branding images around side and top of box. ( Refer to the picture, of the top of the box.)
5. Brush varnish over entire box, lid and bottom. Let dry.

ITEMS TO PUT IN YOUR BOX 

Crayons, regular & colored pencils, coloring books, puzzle books, adhesive backed fun foam, blank paper, stencils, stickers and decorative punches. I am sure you can come up with a lot more!
