
We figured we’d keep it up with the Grey Goose and pear theme – it all just looks and sounds so yummy.
GREY GOOSE® LA POIRE FABULEAUX
INGREDIENTS
1 parts GREY GOOSE® La Poire
1 part Apple Juice
1/2 part cinnamon syrup
1/2 part Butterscotch Schnapps
Squeeze of Lemon
Syrup Ingredients:
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups water
4 Tbsp butter
4 cinnamon sticks
INSTRUCTIONS
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously, and strain into a chilled martini glass. Present with a lemon.
Syrup Instructions: Mix all over medium heat on stove and bring to a simmer for 10 minutes, then cool to room temperature.
TIPS
The sweeter profile of this cocktail allows it to pair well with desserts and sweeter fruits, particularly those that feature pears. At the 2009 Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, it was served along with a poached pear trifle of cubed pears, apple cake, and light lemon crème.
