Trip Advisor has just published it’s Top 10 Most Romantic Destinations. For us, it would be Napa hands down! My husband, who has never been to Napa (for shame!) has recently really become quite the oenophile (that’s a wine connoisseur to you and me). He has even decided that he wants to plant vines in our front yard when we re-landscape so that he can eventually make about 20 bottles per year. I am not one to shake a finger in the face of wine, so I am fully supportive of this venture. I will say, however, my eyes start to glaze over at his ‘Cliff Claven’esq’ banter about wine and have to remind him that if he’s going to ‘educate’ me on all things wine, I better have a glass in my hand at the same time.

What a great hotel, everything about our stay was perfect! Our spacious room was lovely and cozy with a fireplace and view of the vineyards and surrounding hills. The gounds are beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very nice with a great variety – and good coffee!! Very convenient to walk to any of the great Yountville restaurants. We will definitely be back!
