Remember when calculating your budget to include the extras, we’re talking things like taxes and tips. Tips/service charges can be anywhere from 18-20% of the bill, so it’s significant. Remember also, that while service charges are automatic on things like food and beverage, it’s still nice to tip your service providers as well – photographer, DJ, videographer, wedding coordinator. More extras may include: dress alterations, after care for your dress (a simple drycleaner isn’t good enough), stamps for the invitations (often forgotten in the original budget). Before spending willy nilly, really rack your brain on every little detail where you could be spending money.
