Don’t forget your beloved pet in your celebration! It is becoming more and more of a trend to not only include your pets in your wedding, but to also dress them for the occasion. Well, I have come across a site that will do just that ! You must check them out, they even have different holiday categories that will keep your pets in fashion. From tuxedos & bachelor party T’s and bridesmaids T’s for weddings to earth day T’s too. So-o-o adorable !
30% of couples are now involving pets in their weddings and not only cats and dogs. I have read stories of horses, birds, a ferret and even a gold fish in attendance at the wedding ! But are you asking for trouble by having your pets at such a special occasion? Will your pets be entrusted as ring bearers, bridesmaids, and groomsmen or simply present at the ceremony? Before you decide, think about your pets and their personality. Do they like being around people, do they listen to you and other people that might be helping them down the aisle. If you do include a dog, do they tend to bark or bite if they get excited? Will there be someone at the wedding that is deathly afraid of dogs; will your dog mind being dressed up (try this out before the big day); will they mind having a pillow or flowers tied to their collar ?
You don’t want your animal to steal your thunder from your big day, in a bad way. These are all things to consider and discuss before including your pet at your nuptials. If you can answer positively to all or most of these potential issues, your pet is a good candidate to be included in your special day. Start looking for that perfect animal outfit that goes with your wedding and your personality and have fun with it !
