Pumpkins are the mainstay of Halloween Decor, but you need not kill yourself trying to carve one up. Spray painting pumpkins are Elegant & Easy when you follow Victoria Lavender’s instructions.
Speaking of spray paint, I so love it. I’m a lazy painter and spray paint makes my laziness look so pretty. One year, I found some faux carnation flowers in my craft closet and decided they would be perfect spray painted black for my Halloween Cemetary. They turned out perfect because of their many layers; you could see a touch of the white showing through which made them look all the more creepy. Alas, I do not at this moment have a picture of mine (note to self: take pic of carnations), so I’ve attached one from Ali Eli Florals who spray painted real carnations. Thrown into a black vase – they are Elegant & Easy Halloween Party Decor.
Your decor is about creating a mood, so remember to translate that mood to your food too. Find lots of dark colored foods to display on trays throughout the room. Black cherries, Blackberries, deep dark grapes, figs. Check out the picture below from CountryLiving as a great example of using dark fruits and nuts as a centerpiece. You could take it a step further by adding black string licorice as its base.
