We found this fun linen idea at The Party Goddess Blog – chalkboard fabric for the kid’s (or adult kid’s) table who received the idea from All About Presentation.
Encourage creative doodling by kids or adults! This lightweight and erasable material can be sponged clean with water to renew (grease will spot). Material is heavier than oilcloth but still flexible, and can also be used as a chalkboard. We found chalkboard fabric at Haberman Fabrics for $12.98 online, I’m sure you can contact your local fabric store or do an internet search for ‘chalkboard fabric’ and find lots of options.
This fabric would be so fun at your Thanksgiving Family Feast, the kid’s table at a wedding, or fun tables for a birthday party.
