Fall and Spring are my favorite times of year – the inbetweeners I suppose. I think they would be Goldilocks’ favorite times too – not too cold, not too hot, just right. The seasons are changing, leaves falling or growing, changing colors before our eyes. Each season gives me the ‘fever’ – spring fever, fall fever to venture out and travel. Spring for something fresh and exciting, fall for something cozy and poetic. Always looking for something charming & quaint with modern comforts.
While dreamily perusing my wishful Fall vacation options, I happened upon Starwood Hotel’s The Equinox in Vermont. Don’t these pictures just wax poetic?
The hotel’s concierge has this to say, “The Equinox Preservation covers 914 acres of forest lands on the eastern slopes of Mount Equinox. There are over 11 miles of marked and maintained trails in the preserve. One of my favorites is a hike to Robin’s Lookout to a rock outcropping overlooking the Equinox Pond. I like to see the brilliant colors of the fall season. Naturalists have long held Mt. Equinox in high esteem for its beauty and natural diversity.”
