{DIY Daily} Mason Jar Chalkboard Vases

We love these mason jars that Scrumptious Swirls used as ‘chalkboard vases’.  The added little DIY touch is that she painted the mason jar lids (the inner part that sits in the screw cap) with chalkboard paint, drilled a hole in the lid, tied the lids to the side of the jar and wrote her wedding date on them.  Her set-up was for a lovely stay-at-home anniversary dinner, but these jars could be utilized in so many ways – table numbers, centerpieces for a child’s birthday with the age written on them, on the cocktail tables at a wedding with the wedding date written on them.  Best of all, these are re-usable and easy to make.
