{Sip} Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

We received this yummy recipe from our son’s English French Learning Academy Newsletter.  It is a perfect yummy treat for the fall holidays.

Ingredients: 

  • 2 C vanilla ice cream
  •  1 C milk
  •  2/3 C canned pumpkin
  • 1/4 C packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin-pie spice (or cinnamon and nutmeg)

Directions:

  • Whipped cream to taste
  • Place first 5 ingredients in a blender; process until smooth.
  • Pour 3/4 cup ice cream mixture into each of 4 glasses.
  • Top each with about 2 teaspoons whipped cream; sprinkle with the additional pumpkin-pie spice, if desired
