Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and we all know what that means! This is the time of year when everyone is breaking out all of their best recipes and wanting to share them with family and friends, and coming up with decorations to adorn their festive tables. So here are some DIY projects and recipes to ponder as you get ready to decorate and to create your baking list for the big day.
Keep the kids busy and have them make some creative drink tags for your festivities. All you need to do is gather some magazines, scissors a glue stick, pen, a dime and your ready to start.
HERE’S HOW TO MAKE THEM
- Place your wine glass on a paper picture and trace around the bottom of your wine glass and cut out the circle. Place the circle on some contrasting colored paper and glue together. Cut out a square around the circle.
- Place a dime in the center of the circle and trace around it. Cut into the circle from one of the corners of the square, and cut out the small circle.
- Write the names of your guests around the paper circle and slip them onto the stem of your glasses.

Here’s something else the kids can help with – a table greeting. Use cloves to spell out a word like “Greetings” or “Welcome” on apples, then line them down the center of your table on a festive runner.
Have great family fun this holiday!
