I just love this wedding from Eat, Drink, Chic. As we all know, I’ve been giddy over garden weddings for some time now so it should be no surprise that I picked this one as a favorite. One the best parts about this wedding is that it was a surprise for all the guests. The guests at Mark & Amy’s wedding thought they were just coming to their engagement party, but they surprised them all with their civil ceremony in Mark’s parent’s backyard. The simple rustic, picnic, vintage theme is picture perfect. I especially love the little details like the newspaper for the chips; I always love mason jars for decor and drinkware, but add in the cute striped straw and it’s even better. The write to us vintage post cards are a great idea and such a cute set-up and the simple flower arrangements take a nice twist when hung with twine from the arbor. As with any wedding or party, it’s all in the details and Mark & Amy really got them all right.
Amy and her mother did most of the styling. Check out these great pics we pulled directly from Amy’s blog, Eat, Drink, Chic, { All photos by Jonathan Ong } and then click here to get even more details & pics. Amy’s blog is filled with great free printables too, so it’s a must visit for anyone planning a fun wedding or party.

Yes, I just love the simplicity of garden/rustic weddings. Makes me want to renew my own vows or just throw a rustic/garden party. I love when couples have weddings/receptions in barns that have this similar feel – takes it from country bumpkin to country chic.
this is so cute!! i love it too!
