I just found this nifty little DIY Daily over at Mandi Being Crafty. I think it’s a perfect little tutorial for spring – especially for those whose allergies don’t allow them to have fresh flowers in the house, but still want some simple floral beauty.
Mandi used a fancy schmancy petal roller to make her petals, but my cheap brain tells me that a pencil would work in a pinch as well. Granted, I’m sure the petal roller has some sort of fancy slit thingy that helps to hold the paper while you roll it, but really, I think I can manage with a pencil (I could be wrong though, don’t hold me to it).
Here is the pretty topiary – great for a mantle, or a console table or even your dining or kitchen table or on the window sill. These would also be cute little centerpieces at a garden party. Click here to head over to Mandi Being Crafty to get the tutorial.
