Make your gift even more special with a personal “Accordion Memory Card”.  If there is someone you have known for a long time, have spent many hours having fun times together and going everywhere with, if they love life and it loves them back, now is your chance to relive the adventures and let them know how special they are to you!  This would be a great Mother’s Day, Mom’s Birthday or even teacher appreciation gift.

Pick photos from old and new photographs that you have collected over the years and that bring a warm smile to your face when you look at them. Get creative, write something short and sweet on the pages or just leave them blank. Glue a favorite picture on the front of the two of you, or embellish front and back if you want to go all out!

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • White card stock
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors or a paper cutter
  • Ruler
  • Glue or tape
  • Pictures
  • Hole punch (optional)

Accordion card supplies

Step 1. Fold an 81/2"x11" paper (card stock and scrapbook paper) in half, lengthwise. Cut ribbon in 2, 6in. lengths & glue to card stock ends. Glue papers together, leaving 1 end open 1/4". Or you can punch holes in the front and back, at the ends, for your ribbon. Fold in half.

Step 2. Glue or tape as many sections together as you have pictures for. Fold each section in half. Don't make to big or it won't close.

Step 3. Make frames for pic's or glue full size pictures on the pages. Leave a small bit of card stock showing at fold, so it will fold over easier.

Step 4. Fold all the pictures inside. To finish your Accordion Memory Card, tie the ribbon in a knot. (if you want to tie it in a bow, cut your ribbon longer in step 1.)
