So, my hands down favorite blog to read is The Art of Doing Stuff. Karen is not only super creative and crafty, but she’s cheap. Okay, that came out wrong – she’s frugal, thrifty, conscious of the bottom line – you know, cheap – but in a good way. All the cheap stuff she finds at the dollar store ends up looking really modern and cool and hip – and not like cheap crap at all! Another must read is her DIY outdoor firepit aptly named How To Make A Personal Fire Pit – For Cheap. As a bonus, she’s pretty funny too. I read her blog everyday – without fail – it perks up my day.
In today’s post, she shows us how to make a really pretty spring wreath out of a pool noodle she bought at a dollar store. It’s easy, it’s creative and it’s not your typical spring wreath (although she promises to show us typical Springtime variations of said wreath in the coming days, so keep checking). Click here to read her witty banter and to get the low down on how to make one of your own.
